Dr Alexandra O’Neill graduated from Flinders University in South Australia in 2011 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She began her medical career in the Northern Territory, completing her internship and early clinical years before moving to Western Australia to commence specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Alexandra trained across Perth’s major tertiary hospitals and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2022, recognising her as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon.
With a keen interest in facial surgical oncology and reconstructive surgery, Alexandra undertook advanced post-fellowship training at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney. She gained further experience in melanoma surgery at the Melanoma Institute Australia in Sydney.
Returning to Perth, Alexandra commenced private practice, as well as commencing a Consultant Specialist Plastic Surgeon position at Royal Perth Hospital.
Alexandra joined the 1300HANDOC team in 2024.
